Activity Description
The dinner cruise is one of the must do activities. No trip to Victoria Falls is complete without a spectacular sunset and a bottomless bar; followed by a 4 course gourmet dinner freshly prepared on-board, and served while cruising along the the calm waters of the Zambezi River above the Victoria Falls with the African wildlife offering free entertainment.
You will have the finest vantage point from which to watch hippo, crocodiles and other animals which come to the edge of the river in the early evening, to quench their thirst. Your are in the first class seats, that’s for sure, and while you are sipping your cocktails and enjoying snacks, you will be captivated by the sun’s dying rays as they cast a burnt-orange glow which shimmers on the river.
What to Expect
Guests are welcomed on board with a refresher towel and chilled flute of sparkling wine before they settle down on the top floor of the vessel for a sunset cruise before dinner. Amuse bouche and snack platters are served while the sun sinks, including dainty cups of cauliflower gazpacho, dates wrapped in bacon and bruschetta garnished with avo and cream cheese. A barman and waiters serve a selection of lively cocktails and imported premium spirits throughout the journey.
The plush, cushioned furniture and high vantage point on the upper deck provide the ideal space to watch one of Victoria Falls famous sunsets. After sunset, dinner is served on the lower deck of the vessel, prepared on board by two Chefs. The four-course meal and all-inclusive drinks on board the luxurious Malachite are great value for money and promise an exceptional sunset dinner cruise experience in Victoria Falls.
